In today’s blog, we will talk about another rocketry organization dedicated towards working for model rockets
Tripoli Rocketry Association
It is a non-profit organization similar to the NAR. It works for the advancement and operation of amateur high-power rocketry. The US and 22 additional country members are part of this rocketry organization. It was established in 1964 by a group of high school students in Irwin, Pennsylvania as a high school science club. Francis (Glenn) Graham was a key founding member in the organization. The reason for the name ‘Tripoli’ organization is that members for this organization came from three countries, meaning Tripoli.
This organization started building zinc sulphur and caramel candy motors. It has a dedication to advanced rocketry in many forms, pushing the envelope of civilian rocketry in a safe and scientific manner.
